Terms of Service — Cubing4Everyone

You may use the Service only if you are legally allowed to do so under applicable law.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

To use Cubing4Everyone, you must create an account. We may offer account access through:

• Google Sign-In
• email and password

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information
• keeping your login credentials secure
• all activity that occurs under your account

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may require account verification, password reset steps, or other security measures when reasonably necessary.

Cubing4Everyone allows users to create public-facing profiles.

Some profile elements may be public by default, including:

• username
• display name
• personal bests

Other optional profile fields may be visible only if you choose to fill them in and enable them, such as:

• profile photo
• cover photo
• bio
• place of origin
• current place of residence
• WCA ID
• linked social profile URLs
• mains and related profile details

You are solely responsible for the information you choose to place on your profile.

Cubing4Everyone provides timer, solve tracking, session management, performance, and related cubing features.

You retain responsibility for:

• the accuracy of your entered or recorded solve data
• any manual times you enter
• anything you choose to share publicly

Solves, sessions, detailed history, scrambles, penalties, and timestamps are private by default unless you choose to share them.

If you share a solve, the shared content may include the solve's associated information, including time, scramble, penalties, timestamp, and related solve details.

Cubing4Everyone may include community and social features, including:

• following and followers
• user search
• profile sharing
• solve sharing
• suggested users
• blocking
• user reports

These features are provided to support the community experience, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, identity, intent, or conduct of any user.

You understand that:

• public profiles may be visible on the web
• logged-in users may be able to search for users and view certain social connections
• other users may interact with content you choose to share

"User Content" means content or information that you submit, upload, create, or share through the Service, including:

• profile information
• images
• solves
• shared solves
• public cubing information
• links you add to your profile
• reports submitted through the Service

You keep ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights you grant us below.

By submitting or sharing User Content through the Service, you grant Cubing4Everyone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, provide, improve, secure, and promote the Service.

This license ends within a commercially reasonable time after the content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent retention is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, backup cycles, or enforcement of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• use the Service to harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others
• upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• scrape, copy, automate, or misuse the Service in a way that harms the platform or other users
• manipulate competitive features, records, or user data fraudulently
• submit false, abusive, or bad-faith reports
• use the Service to distribute unlawful, infringing, obscene, or harmful content

We may investigate and act on violations, including removing content, limiting features, suspending accounts, or terminating access.

Users may be able to report other users and block interactions.

Cubing4Everyone may review reports manually and may take action as we reasonably determine appropriate, including:

• warning users
• limiting features
• removing shared content
• suspending accounts
• terminating accounts

We are not required to act on every report in a specific way, and we are not liable for user behavior.

We may retain minimum necessary moderation and report-related records for safety, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, and enforcement purposes.

Cubing4Everyone may display advertisements on web and mobile platforms, including through third-party advertising providers.

We may offer both ad-supported access and paid options, including a subscription or purchase option that removes ads.

We do not guarantee:

• continuous ad availability
• any specific number, format, or placement of ads
• that ad removal will affect all third-party or platform-level promotional surfaces unless explicitly stated

Cubing4Everyone may offer paid features, including a subscription to remove ads.

If you purchase a subscription or paid feature:

• billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be handled by the platform through which you purchased
• additional purchase terms may apply through Apple, Google, or other providers
• access to paid benefits may end if your subscription expires, is canceled, or is refunded where applicable

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions do not transfer between accounts.

The Service, including its software, branding, design, text, logos, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Cubing4Everyone or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or any of its non-user-created components.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including:

• Google Sign-In
• Firebase services
• external social profile links
• advertising providers
• app store platforms

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, availability, or actions. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, share, and delete data.

By using the Service, you also acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Cubing4Everyone may provide:

• account deletion
• app data deletion

Account Deletion

If you delete your account, we will aim to delete your account and associated active data, except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for:

• legal compliance
• fraud prevention
• abuse prevention
• security
• dispute resolution
• enforcement of these Terms

Data Deletion

If you delete app data without deleting your account, certain data such as solves, sessions, profile details, personal bests, relationships, preferences, and local or offline data may be removed according to the deletion tools provided in the Service.

Some derived or public information may disappear or reset when the underlying data is removed.

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee that:

• the Service will always be available
• the Service will be error-free
• synchronization will always succeed without interruption
• any feature will remain permanently available

We may also impose limits on features, storage, access, or usage where reasonably necessary.

Some features may work offline and sync later when connectivity returns.

When synchronization occurs, Cubing4Everyone may reconcile data states according to its sync rules. If multiple states must be reconciled, the most recent valid sync state prevails.

You understand that offline and local storage behavior may depend on device conditions, app version, operating system behavior, network state, and other technical factors.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cubing4Everyone disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee:

• accuracy of user-generated content
• uninterrupted service
• specific competitive, training, or performance outcomes
• that public or shared data will never be copied or viewed by others once shared

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cubing4Everyone and its affiliates, operators, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or service interruption arising out of or related to the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

• the amount you paid to Cubing4Everyone for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or
• USD $50

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cubing4Everyone and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of:

• your use of the Service
• your User Content
• your violation of these Terms
• your violation of applicable law
• your misuse of community features or interactions with other users

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service if:

• you violate these Terms
• we believe your conduct creates risk, harm, abuse, or legal exposure
• we are required to do so by law
• continued access is no longer technically or operationally feasible

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account where that feature is available.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections related to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, moderation records, dispute-related retention, and legal compliance.

Cubing4Everyone is intended for an international audience. You are responsible for complying with local laws applicable to your use of the Service.

Cubing4Everyone is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the minimum age required to use the Service under applicable law, you may not use the Service except as lawfully permitted.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
